"Ching Chin" in chinese sounds equivalent to "Kisses".  As a child in school, having a name like this always draws extra attention from other children.(i.e. i got laughed at a lot!)  But i have grwon to like this name when i got older.  But I'm known as "Anny" to most people.  I am Taiwanese, but have spend half of my life so far studying/working in UK.  I travel back and forward during all these years, and finally decided that i actually quiet like UK and is hoping i can stay in London for a bit longer with my lovely ever so hot Walsh boyfriend. 

I've started off my career as an Architect and worked in London two years ago.  My colleagues introduce me to silversmith, and since then i could not stop thinking about it.  (Yes, even at work) So I’ve spent spare time and weekend to join courses to learn about making jewellery.  And now I’ve rented a studio space in Hatton Garden to continue learning & making.

Even though I did not hold a university degree in Jewellery, I believe all these year training as an architect has helped me developing my visual sense and aesthetic in various things.  Well, since I’m still pretty much immature in this industry.  I’ll just do whatever work I’m happy with and just explore and learn, learning through making!!! and hope you guys enjoy my works!

謝青親 是我的中文名子, 一個ㄥ,一個ㄣ.  所以Ching Chin, 一個有G,一個沒有  雖然親親這個名子從小被笑到大, 但長大後, 我還挺喜歡的.  安妮(Anny) 則是我從小到大的英文名子, 現在多數人都叫我安妮, 連家人也不例外.  我是土生但不是土長的台灣人, 人生剛好有一半在英國度過, 長年在台灣與英國間築流, 稱的上半個英國人半個台灣人,交了一個英國光頭男友, 目前頗恩愛穩定的

本行其實是建築業的, 但兩年前因為事務所同事的介紹而踏入了金工這不歸路, 周末及下班後的空轄時間則是投入金工創作, 連上班開會發呆的時候都會想接下來要什麼, 就這樣我愛上金工了

我總是想到我想做的作品, 才去學相關的技巧, 雖然不是相關科系畢業, 但好歹我也是設計相關產業畢業的, 技巧即使不足, 但卻多少對美學有點sense. 憑著"做自己爽"的方向出發就對啦, 現階段的我, 就是藉由學習來創作, 創作中學習, 看官們多多支持摟!

三月 1997     於英國就讀寄宿學校

五月 2008     開始接觸金工, 並在London City Lit創作學習

八月 2009     短期回台灣在草山金工創作學習

十一月 2009  第一次設計合展, 於倫敦OXO Tower展出七件作品

                  目前位於Hatton Garden附近工作室持續創作

二月 2010     考上建築師執照
